Cooking With Induction

Popular in Europe for many years, Induction cooking is now taking America by storm.  Without getting too “geeky”, induction cooking heats cooking vessels by magnetic induction, instead of thermal conduction from a flame or an electrical element.  Because inductive heating directly heats the vessel, very rapid increases and decreases in temperature can be achieved.  Another major benefit of induction cooking is the cooktop remains cool because all of the energy is being transferred directly into the bottom of the vessel.  Induction technology provides startling precision, power and efficiency, with up to 40% more efficient use of energy.

Have you ever had to open a window while cooking a big meal?  Another major advantage of induction cooking is that your kitchen doesn’t heat up from residual heat spilling around the edges of your current gas cooktop.  If you can’t stand the heat, buy an induction cooktop.

Introducing our Newest line of Cabinetry!

Armony Cabinetry: Adding Elegance to Home Storage

Armony Cucine cabinets are popular among designers and developers for many reasons. They show well, designed with simple, clean lines, and they stand up to the wear of constant handling.

  • European history and quality: Armony Cucine, a division of the Sanatrossa Group, is the largest kitchen supplier under single ownership in Italy. The company goes back more than 50 years.

  • A strong eco-connection: Armony Cucine uses environmentally-sensitive Laminated E1 (commonly called Eco-wood or Green wood) doors and cabinets use less timber. Much of the kitchen comes from recycled/reused materials and E1 board has one of the lowest formaldehyde ratings in the world.

  • Clean and quiet: All cabinet boxes are made of material water and heat resistant PVC edges. Interiors are grey so that scratches and marks don’t show. A German-engineered suppression closing system slows the momentum of closing doors and drawers for a soft and gentle stop.

  • The science of strength: Aluminum lining in all kitchen and bathroom sink cabinets prevents damage from moisture and chemicals. Cabinetry shelving is 19mm thick rather than the typical 16 mm. A 2 mm soft edge finish on the front side helps prevent damage from bumps and knocks with plates and glassware.
